Why Our Programs?
Our programs are designed to train the next generation of agricultural leaders through hands-on education, research, and outreach. We bring together a powerful consortium of four land-grant universities — including two HBCUs, one HSI, and a leading research-intensive institution — to create a dynamic, inclusive, and technology-driven learning environment.
By combining expertise in soil health, climate-smart agriculture, nanotechnology, drone and GIS applications, regenerative agriculture, and agri-business, we prepare students at every level — from K-12 to graduate school — to thrive in modern agriculture.
Through scholarships, experiential learning, virtual reality training, and internships with USDA and industry partners, students gain the skills, confidence, and leadership capacity to address real-world challenges in food, agriculture, and sustainability. Our mission is to build a diverse, innovative, and future-ready workforce committed to feeding the world and protecting our planet.
How to Apply?
Applying to our programs is simple! We welcome motivated students from high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels who are passionate about agriculture, science, sustainability, and innovation.
Step 1: Review the available programs — such as scholarships, summer research internships, experiential learning projects, and outreach opportunities — offered through our partner universities.
Step 2: Prepare the following materials (as requested by each opportunity):
A short Statement of Interest explaining your goals and why you’d like to join.
Your Resume or CV.
Unofficial transcripts (if applying for undergraduate or graduate programs).
Step 3: Submit your application directly through your university’s NEXTGEN contact or the program link shared on our website.
Step 4: Selected applicants will be contacted for follow-up details, such as interviews, workshop schedules, or travel arrangements.
Tip: You don’t need prior experience in agriculture — just curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to learn!
